Do you offer ski courses for all levels?
Yes! – Our group courses are aimed at adult beginners with no previous experience – We offer private lessons in Gerlos for children, returning skiers & advanced skiers of all levels ✔️ Our ski courses are individual, flexible & goal-oriented
Who can book private lessons?
We offer private lessons for children and adults of all ages and levels – from absolute beginners to highly experienced skiers. Lessons are individually tailored to your ability and goals.
Are there also group courses?
Yes, but only to a limited extent:
We offer group courses for adults exclusively for beginners with no prior knowledge.
For everyone else, we recommend private lessons – more effective, more individualized, and with faster progress.
From what age can children participate?
We offer group courses for children aged 6 and over – for beginners and slightly advanced children with up to 10 weeks of skiing experience .
Children with more experience benefit most from private lessons , as we can focus specifically on technique and individual needs.
How much does a ski course in Gerlos cost?
You can always find the latest prices for private lessons and group courses in our webshop. You can also book directly there.
How many days of ski lessons are advisable?
For noticeable progress, we recommend at least 2-3 days , preferably consecutively.
– For beginners: 3 days group course is ideal
– For advanced learners: depending on the learning goal - we recommend 2 - 5 double lessons of private lessons
Tip!
Tip: Please reserve your courses in advance – our places fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
From what age can children participate?
Children aged 6 and over can take part in our group courses.
Younger or very experienced children can book private lessons at any time.
Is a ski pass included in the price?
No, the ski pass is not included in the course price. You can purchase it online at www.zillertalarena.at or directly at the cable car ticket office.
Do beginners also need a ski pass?
Yes, all participants need a valid ski pass, even beginners.
Do courses take place in bad weather?
Yes, as long as the lifts are open, our courses will take place.
🌬️ Tip: Choose your clothing according to the weather and temperature, don't forget your snow goggles - then skiing will be fun in any weather!
When should I book private lessons?
👉 As early as possible!
Then you have the largest selection of times and ski instructors.
Last-minute requests are also welcome – if there are still spaces available, we'll make it happen!
Can siblings or friends be in the same group?
Yes, if the skiing or snowboarding level and experience are +/- the same, no problem.
When are the course times?
Our group courses (children & adults) always start on Sundays or, with a minimum number of 5 participants, daily at the same standard.
Class times:
🕚 11:00 – 14:00
✔️ Start relaxed, avoid lift queues and ski quiet slopes.
Private lessons can be booked daily:
🕚 9:00 -11:00 am
🕚 11:00 – 13:00
🕚 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

In which languages do you teach?
By default in:
- German
– Dutch
- English (ideal for English speaking ski instructor Gerlos or anyone wanting ski lessons in English Austria)
Other languages on request – we’re a multilingual ski school Austria.
What happens if you get injured or ill?
– Bookings are personal and non-transferable
– A refund is only possible with a medical certificate
– Please read our terms and conditions before booking
